The house? Looking more like a house!

The house is looking more like a house. We have half of the floor trusses now in place on top of the exterior walls. We have the east wall, the wall facing the lake, up and framed. The rest of the floor trusses should be in place by the end of the work day on Tuesday. The windows will get ordered this week. MF visits the site every day. I get out of work too late to see anything, so I get there once or twice a week.

Next comes a sub-floor of 3/4" (1.9 cm) plywood. After the carpenters finish installing all of the floor joists they will close in the lake side of the house. Soon they will be able to heat the basement and pour the concrete floor. We hope to have the main floor walls on-site by the end of next week. They will be constructed off-site, trucked in and lifted into place by crane.
