Dragonfly season

The guys came on Friday to work on the patio and front stoop, but they didn't pour the concrete. Mostly they just moved aggregate from the front yard to the back, and filled in the areas that will be under the slabs of the patio and front stoop. Then today, they poured the front patio and the front stoop, which I have been eagerly and patiently anticipating! Now it's dragonfly season!

I have a small dragonfly shape that I used to make a few dragonfly impressions in the concrete. I have definitely not got the technique perfected. If the cement is too wet, you take up pieces when you lift it up. Let it get too hard and the dragonfly shape barely makes an impression. One more chance when they pour the front sidewalk.
